Introduction to Hip Hop Liquid Bellydance Fusion (12pm-3pm)
The workshop focuses on the abundant creativity that the dynamism Hip Hop elements can bring to the fluidity of Bellydance. To traditional Bellydance vocabulary (isolations, hipwork, layering…), we will apply Hip Hop dance technique (Waving, Liquid, Popping, Tutting) and also a Hip Hop Movement Concepts (with concepts such as Ticking, Tracing, Locking, Bouncing).
$50 advance, $60 at the door (cash or check only at the door)
Hip Hop Bellydance Fusion: “Bellytutting” (3:45pm-5:45pm)
In this workshop, participants will explore each concept of tutting and apply it to bellydance, culminating in a bellytutting choreography. Registration in the Intro to Hip Hop Liquid Fusion workshop strongly suggested.
$40 advance, $50 at the door (cash or check only at the door)
