| Theatrical Bellydance |
Great performers have the ability to move their audience to tears by allowing them to glimpse what is inside their hearts. Through acting exercises, Anasma will help you unlock and free your emotions within a bellydance context, allowing you to share your true self with others.
We will work on improvisation, breathing exercices, projection, miming, embodying characters or telling a story through our dance.
The experience can be very moving and therapeutic.
Anasma studied acting for 5 years under one of Paris' successful and highly respected director Chimel Cohen. Anasma currently studies miming.
Anasma is teh co-founder and co-director of the New York Theatrical bellydance Conference. |
| Performance coaching |
Using her theater background (breathing and miming exercices and staging codes) and her love of people, Anasma coaches performers of all levels to help them be more in touch with themselves while performing and gain confidence, and stage their pieces for a maximum impact.
Finding what is the intention of the piece and what is the purpose to each movement, performers are closer to their story, to their emotions, to themselves and increase therefore their stage presence and their pleasure performing. The work can be based on an existing choreography, a theme, a story, a video... |
| Salsa Bellydance Fusion |
We will bring a fiery explosive Latin flavor to our sensual soft and suave bellydance. By listening to the music differently, dancers will create a new rhythmic frame to the sound of the clave. Dancers will comprehend Bellydance with a Salsa vocabulary and discover exciting footwork to enrich their range of motion and offer them new challenges for layering.
